Starting with 'FreeGIS Montly News'?

Hi FreeGIS Team,

I think that the best next step to draw attention to Free GIS Software
can be to start a "FreeGIS Monthly News".
Its credability would work through  constancy not through comprehension.
So, I am thinking of a short summary of the most interesting
stuff of the past month, perhaps including a special feature from time to
time.

However, I can not gurantee the constancy on my own. Thus, the News should
be written by alternating FreeGIS team members. Thus I need your opinion
on whether you think this is all a good idea and whether you are
seriously willing/interested in writing some stuff on your own from
time to time.

A good starting point would be 2004, ie. releasing the news about
1/2004 in february.
