Being responsible for the GREAT-ER project (which also focusses on 
catchments and river segments) I will take this one up. 

I've been aware of this database since a year or so but so far it 
it seemd to not comply fully with freegis.org criteria.  I will take 
this submission as a opportunity to discuss things with Alfred ...
