The reason why it has been removed from testing is a release critical bug:
thuban: Thuban was compiled with wx 2.4.4 but wxPython is 18.104.22.168
The proper fix would be Silke compiling thuban against wxPython 22.214.171.124
and uploading that version into sid (maybe including the patch in the
bug report), assuming that Thuban will still work fine.
There are two more bugs that are tagged important, even though I'd
consider them normal bugs. Maybe Silke should decrease the severity.
#288074: thuban: Unable to zoom properly with two layers loaded
#309122: thuban: Fail to handle postgis with several geometry entries properly
All language designers are arrogant. Goes with the territory...
