Users Conferences on September 12th-14th, 2004, Bangkok, Thailand

The FOSS for Geoinformatics, FOSS-GIS Users Conference will be held in Bangkok
,Thailand, September 12th-14th, 2004. The conference joins GRASS developers and
user worldwide to foster closer relations and to share ideas for improving software
and applications. Thus, the aim of the conference is to exchange experiences
between GRASS users and developers and to provide first-hand information on FOSS
capabilities for developing nation/local spatial data infrastructures, with emphasis
on Asia countries. One unique aspect of the conference will be the INSTALLFEST.
Bring your computer and install GRASS and other FOSS for geoinfomatics software,
and begin to use it all at the conference!  Venue: The conference is being organized
at the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, with support
from several other institutions. The Organizing Committee includes prominent
experts in FOSS for Geoinformatics.

This is not really a submission for a new entry. The message should have gone
to the mailing list as a normal mail.
