[Freegis-list] Updates at FreeGIS

Dear all,

some updates on the FreeGIS page (sorry for being late
with some 'news', I was on holiday the last two weeks):

New:

Vis5D 
	Vis5D is a system for interactive visualization of large 5-D gridded data sets
	such as those produced by numerical weather models. One can make
	isosurfaces, contour line slices, colored slices, volume renderings, etc of data in
	a 3-D grid, then rotate and animate the images in real time. There's also a
	feature for wind trajectory tracing, a way to make text anotations for
	publications, support for interactive data analysis, etc.

GPStrans 
	GPStrans allows to exchange "routes" between Mayko mXmap and the Garmin
	GPS receiver. 
	Version: 0.36
	License: GPL

GRASS 5.0 beta 8
OSSIM 0.2.a
NCAR Graphics 4.2.1

License change:

NCAR Graphics is now GPL.

I think a separate email will be send to this list to tell the
happy end of the licensing story about NCAR Graphics.
Though some confusion was generated there I regard it still a
story of success and hope more will follow.
