You got me. I am not 100% sure. We were able to load and display VPF
data with OpenMap. There are Java classes for Shapefile handling
and I don't see a reason why that should not work.
If it does not work yet, I guess it should be fairly simple
to fix it (I like Free Software :-).

Has anyone on this list already tackled or solved this?
