[Freegis-list] Any software that allows uploads of maps to Magellan GPS receivers (eg Map 410)

Hi Joe,

being not very knowledgable about GPS interfaces 
I can only offer you general advice:

	You should check the GPS entries and the people behind them in
	the freegis.org site list. They might have more resources.

Anyway a quick expert search of mine for protocols turned out,
that magellan actually has published some documents about its 
GPS receiver's protocols. It has specifics for Map410.

Take the computer language of your choise (ours is python) and hack away.
We hope to add your Free Software Component for Map410 soon. :)
