[Freegis-list] shape file compressor

Hi,
	I would like to know if there is any utility that can reduce the
size of a shape file(.shp) and at the same time will maintain the link with
it's associated .dbf.I know "fshape" does a shape file compression but the
associated .dbf can't be linked with the compressed .shp.Pls let me know abt
this at the earliest.
