Do you think there would be significant interest in utilizing such 
services?  There is a high level definition of coordinate transform 
services being developed within OGC, and I have been kicking around
the idea of implementing it using my existing OGC CT API in C++ as a 
web service, and deploying it on Opengis.net.  However, it hasn't been
clear to me that it would be very useful.  

Do you think it would be?  Note the interface to it would be OGC compliant
definitions of coordinates systems.
