I got answer from FSF that even the Sun RPC license is regarded GPL compatible
(which I was not 100% sure of):

I added OGDI to FreeGIS today. It is Free Software as in "free speech".
GIS network application programmes should have a look at it.
Other interested people as well, perhaps you will gain some interesting
ideas who to use or incorporate OGDI :-)
