Thanks Matt,

both freefs and the VFNY-project are interesting.
It is good to see that they already have FreeGIS prominent on the site.

I wonder if I can find time to explain to Rob that they should go
with a known Free Software license, because it has many advantages.
GNU LGPL or X11 license come to mind if they want less protection of
the freedom.
