I'm writing a 3D terrain visualization tool that reads height,
terrain-class and vector data, and creates a 3D representation of the
data. I need to add support for several common file formats for this
kind of data. Can anyone recommend a programming library that has
support for reading/writing files such as, DEM, GeoTIFF, Shape, etc that
is free to use?
