Hello,

         it could be interesting if the european communauty could make such 
a thing here. I believe that there are quite a lot of bits of software 
everywhere in european universities, it might be worth to make one good 
public software with that  for everybody.

         Unfortunately, EC seems to take the opposite way, as it plans to 
legalise software patents  :
