[Freegis-list] DEM and road network for the alpine region

Dear Members

sorry for any cross-posting of this message. I am a PhD student in Natural Resources in the Unvirsity of Idaho, Moscow, and for my project I am looking for any possible sources of low cost (preferably free) DEM and road network for the Alpine region (I am especially interested in France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria). To be useful for my project the DEM should have a pixel size of 100 meters (or comparable). Any help will be extremely useful.
