Hello Jakob,

Yes, I did get it to work.

First I had to discover that I should use the ShpApi129.pas module.
Even then, it took me quite some time figuring out what was wrong with my 
earlier versions, but apparently shapelib cannot handle dynamic pascal 
arrays! That still looks mighty silly to me, and I'll try fiddling with 
compiler settings, but for now you will have to statically declare your 
array sizes up-front. They do not have to be the exact size of the data. 
Just setting the remaining parts to 0 will work, and maybe even without 
that, because you tell the procedure how many coordinates to expect anyway.

I will send you separately a small demo app that will hopefully show you 
how to get going.
