[Freegis-list] similar systems to GIS

Dear Users

There is a link in the freegis.org website that discusses various systems 
which are similar to GIS, spatial databases. I visited the link a few days 
back but cant find it now. So can someone please identify where exactly is 
this link.

Additionally, if someone knows of any authoritative source where I can 
compare similar systems
