The point is that they make it possible to read online but a little 
harder to read offline.

I skimmed the executive summary and believe that the book seems to be 
even-handed and does not a priori decide that data should be 
restrictively licensed.

I think we need to constructively move the world towards more freedom 
and openness, and the current non-flamewar under the "just free..." 
subject shows that the FreeGIS community is willing to help in that 
regard.
