[Freegis-list] Thesis on Enterprise GIS

Hello Group:

I am interested in doing my thesis on whether it is possible to compose an
'Enterprise GIS' scenario using shareware software on a Windows computer
network.

I am having trouble finding literature on this topic.

Can anybody out there help me locate published studies, reports,
presentations, books, conference papers...
