Hi folks,

Despite the subject may sound a bit off-topic, I thought that some of
you may have a good experience on GPS machines.

I never operated a GPS before, so, I have some doubts about its data:

- is there any standard and common file-format specification for the
files generated by GPS's? Or each manufacturer has its own format?
- is it TEXT or BINARY data?
