I don't care about server software being used, just looking
for 'libre' data access.

I've been impressed by the fact that here in Italy no public
administration gives access to geographical data in a "usable" form
(no WMS, let alone WFS!).

I found myself getting topological maps from a Germany site
(gpsdrive did it for me actually). Thanks guys!

Public data should be free, the earth is the place we all leave in,
do we need to pay in order to get a "picture" of it ??
