I think they just had to admit it. It does not seem they are embracing GFOSS
in any way.

The public asked whether esri guarantee that the software is bug-free, and
whether they are liable for any data loss. Of course esri had to admit their
"guarantee" is only in VERY general terms (a large company will make a better
product, and will remain forever). Overall, not very convincing for the
general public, I think.
