Dear Stephan,

Yes, I certainly have plans to do so. However, right now we lack 
hardware to set up a server with a capacity to run WMS with that amount 
of data. Software luckily is no longer a problem. I will use HostGIS 
Linux - a complete and highly efficient open source platform - for this 
purpose. The Baltic GIS Portal is actually running on HostGIS  Linux 
right now. So, just a hardware issue is to be solved. In case if there 
are no immediate sponsors, the nearest plan to acquire the equipment 
would be first half of the next year.
