not sure what you mean exactly. However, MapIT! provides different
groups within the markerdefs and even seperate icons per entry in a
group.

If you want to work with seperate markerdefs files per user, it should
be straight forward to overwrite the default for 'marker_locations'
specified in base/mapconfig.py with a cgi parameter.
