agreed. i'll make the changes soon.
i will add support for saving the opacity level as well.
as a seperate item (something to put in after the release of v1.1) i
will move the raster layer rendering code into an extension. i had
already done this but then my harddrive broke and i didn't have a
backup of my recent changes.
i had also begun implementing a more rigorous extensions framework.
when i have more to write on this, i'll send another email. have you
thought about this aspect at all?
