Bernhard,

I already tried to compile python modules using MingGW... It's really 
not something easy to do and I never
succeeded with gdal (for example). Time is always the problem in that 
kind of project.

I have to focus on tools that I can use without installing three 
different compilers to test all the way
they could probably work.

I'm really interested in Thuban but I have no time to investigate those 
way of making it work.
Especially beacuse I need updated libraries such as GDAL 1.3.1, 
wxWindows 2.6, etc that will take
me another bunch of time to make them work with Thuban.

Thank you for the work on Thuban.

I hope being able to use the coming new version in my project (is 
something planned ?).
