Indeed.

The reason why it has been removed from testing is a release critical bug:

http://bugs.debian.org/368060

thuban: Thuban was compiled with wx 2.4.4 but wxPython is 2.4.5.0

The proper fix would be Silke compiling thuban against wxPython 2.4.5.0
and uploading that version into sid (maybe including the patch in the
bug report), assuming that Thuban will still work fine.

There are two more bugs that are tagged important, even though I'd
consider them normal bugs. Maybe Silke should decrease the severity.

http://bugs.debian.org/288074

#288074: thuban: Unable to zoom properly with two layers loaded

http://bugs.debian.org/309122
#309122: thuban: Fail to handle postgis with several geometry entries properly

	Joey
