pyshapelib as LGPL?

Hi,

I have a request for altering the license of pyshapelib from GPL to LGPL.
IIRC, I think was already set as an idea for a future change, but I would to
bring the issue forward.
The reason is pretty obvious: I would like to be able to "import shapelib"
in Python code that wouldn't be GPL.
The shapelib C library is dual licensed under the MIT license and LGPL so
that shouldn't be a problem.

What do you guys think of it?

Bram
