Christmas release? :)

Hi Didrik, 
I all, I think we should prepare for a christmas tree release of Thuban.

Planned features:
	* merge Bram's branch with new pyshapelib.

Would-be-cools:
	* get translations updated
de.po: 410 translated messages.
es.po: 356 translated messages, 29 fuzzy translations, 25 untranslated 
fr.po: 356 translated messages, 29 fuzzy translations, 25 untranslated 
hu.po: 384 translated messages, 13 fuzzy translations, 13 untranslated 
it.po: 355 translated messages, 30 fuzzy translations, 25 untranslated 
pt_BR.po: 362 translated messages, 23 fuzzy translations, 25 untranslated 
ru.po: 351 translated messages, 34 fuzzy translations, 25 untranslated 
	
	* get encoding things fixed or completely move to internal
	unicode representation.

Next things we could work on:
	* Have method to measure length, I want to measure my running
       distances. frida has the data for Osnabrueck. :)
