You can do both.
Currently there is one manual, though the code is modular.
Best is to always directly manipulate the manual when changing Thuban,
so it is kept reasonably uptodoate. (I'm a fan of literate programming, but we 
did not apply this to Thuban currently, and changing the way now would be 
some kind of hassle.)
