[Thuban-list] Status and Roadmap

Hi,

I've delayed the roadmap towards 1.0 for another month.
There are two aspects why additional time is required:

First, Bernhard Herzog detected a number of bugs in the
projection management while he tried to add EPSG support.

Second, performance appears to be an issue as reported
from people on this list. The speed for rendering the maps
has definitely to be improved for 1.0. I hope this could be
done with the additional 4 weeks. If not we should delay
again, because better performance is very important.


Good news is that it is being worked on a SVG export.
The aim is better support for printing maps.
However, this work is independent from the roadmap for 1.0.
