[Thuban-list] Experimental WMS Layer

Hi,

I've successfully implemented an Extension that adds
a Layer as delivered by a WMS Server (e.g. UMN MapServer).
It is not yet committed to CVS because I needed
to add a special renderer into Thuban main.

I think it would be a nice idea to introduce an abstraction
for rendering in a way that an extension can add its own.
How much work would that mean?
