[Freegis-list] caching source copies

Hi Adrian,
you are right that just somebody has to make a copy.
Usually we make one anyway to check the software and the source code.
In the case of ncar I just did not happen to make a copy.

Right now we do not have plans to create a full blown cache.
This should be done at sites with a bigger network connection.
But we could always utilise one of the bigger net archives.

Anyway the freegis pages have grown fast and we need to redesign them,
so they stay usable. We also hope to make it even more easier for you 
all to participate in the freegis project.
