[Freegis-list] grass edbs import

Hi, 

this may only concern german GRASS users working with ATKIS/EDBS Data
(the german topographic data transfer standard format). 

I am looking for help developing a GRASS import modul 'v.in.edbs' for
german ATKIS/EDBS Data. 

There exists a GNU EDBS_Reader by Claus Rinner for Arc/info: 
http://www.rinners.de/edbs/ (german documentation). 
I wrote a script which uses this reader and imports the results
(Arc/info) to GRASS with v.in.arc. The import of the
"ATKIS-Objektbereiche" (verkehr, ...) works, but I would prefer to split
up this and import the single "ATKIS-Objektarten" (Strasse, Wege..)
instead.

I guess this is a matter of modifying the EDBS Reader, which is written
in C - a language I don't know yet. This is why I put the programs and a
more datailed Readme (in german) on my server:

if anybody is interested in further developing this GRASS EDBS import
module, don't hesitate :-)
