You can already see the attributes and even change them, but
you will get just a message on the command line in the recent version.

In the Intevation software laboratories we were able to produce
a Thuban version with bare bones attribute editing within 20 minutes.
We implemented the function in there, but found a few other
Thuban bugs in the process thus it is probably a couple of hours work 
for a nice version and a new Thuban release.
