[Freegis-list] Web mapping problem

I run MapServer, mapserver.gis.umn.edu, on IIS. There are other options of
course, but I can only tell you what I personally know. MapServer runs on
IIS, and runs well.

That's not to say that setting up any Web Mapping solution won't be
confusing, including MapServer. I got started from the same place you are
at about 6 months ago, and boy was I confused! Work through the demo and
subscribe to the mailing list. People on the MS list are very helpful when
asked - and so are the mailing list archives. Usually if you can't figure
something out, it's been asked and can be found in the archives.

Good luck,

-Dan Martin
