Hi David,
OpenMap can be used as a map server back end for IIS. Check out our
demo at:
http://winmap.bbn.com/OpenMapWeb/webmap.aspx
OpenMap is an open source Java mapping toolkit and application,
available for download at http://openmap.bbn.com. The code used in the
demo above is included in the package, and documentation is available
at the website.
