Hello,

maybe my post hasn't been read... So I post the adress again : we have made this (long and big) work, with my colleague, because we are especially
concerned with mountainous areas.
We have taken the vmap0 data, and remastered them in order to obtain a correct database. We obtain like this 24 layer concerning the whole alpine
massif. We sell them, but we let them free on a copyright point of view (in respect with the original data). You can see all that stuff at this page :

	http://www.multigeo.com/gb/montagnes_gb/meta_gb/COMMANDE_GB.html

For the DEM, I have here some data which was for sale a few years ago in France. It's called Visual Dem Alpes, it covers the whole alps at a 30 M.
step. The source is Nato data. I doubt I can prepare the whole alps from this database, but I can extract you some parts. It's for sale as well, and it's as
well free of copyrights.

	Best regards,

	Ben.
