[Freegis-list] freegis tutorial: wiki?

Hi,
	I am working on GisMorphix, a GNU/Linux distribution
for GIS. Several person has asked us for introductory tutorials
for Gis. Freegis tutorial may be the
absolute choice, but it is in German. I tried to translate it
using google, It seems ok...

If someone can take "google translated" freegis tutorial 
and put it on some wiki pages, we can work on it and make it
better...

any comments? Or is there any good english tutorial available?
