RFC: ClassGroupPattern

Hi,

I just hacked in a new classification into Thuban I needed for a
specific task: Instead of a single value or a range (valid for numbers)
a regexp pattern can be applied (with re.match()).
This might be helpful if geo-objects have to be grouped on text fields.
So far I only added a new ClassGroup and hacked Thuban/Model/classification.py,
Thuban/Model/load.py and the DTD. One needs a handcrafted .thuban
session file to make use of the patterns.

What do others think about such a classification feature? Do you need
this in real life applications? Any suggestions about how this Classification
could be generated by "Generate Class"?

Best regards,

        Frank
