It probably would be a good idea to have all necessary libraries for
ready for the installer.

Run it in a debugger of some kind to find out where it crashes?
If this is not possible, why not add debuggin statements?
Can you run the example wx demos that also draw lines?

Maybe this is a problem with the cast you did for the sqrt?
You could try a double in there or a long double something else.
