That's one of the idea i've putted in a TODO list. The proj.dll and all
the gdal related modules and libs must be added to the installer.

Where can i find the wxdemos that draw lines ? Is it one of the Thuban
tests ? If yes, I don't see any related erros in the output of the tests
log.

I've tried changing it to double and long double but it still crashes
when loading lines or polygons
