[Mapit] MapInfo integration

I am currently a MapInfo user and was wondering if anyone has easily
integrated
MapInfo workspaces into MAPIT?  I have not thoroughly read through all of
the
specifications but notice that it may be an extensive project to get maps
from
MapInfo to MAPIT. Is this true?
