Hmmm....  When I try to build this, I get two errors:

libraries/thuban/gdalwarp.cpp:641: error: 'struct GDALWarpOptions' has no 
   member named 'nSrcAlphaBand'
libraries/thuban/gdalwarp.cpp:658: error: 'struct GDALWarpOptions' has no 
   member named 'nDstAlphaBand'

My guess is that my version of gdal is different.  I'm using the
Fedora Core 2 RPM from intevation.de:  gdal-1.2.3-0.fdr.2
