I want to stay with RPMs for two reasons: 1) I plan to upgrade to FC3
fairly soon, and 2) I want other people to be able to easily use my
work.

I took the .spec file for 1.2.3, changed the version to 1.2.5, and
built gdal-1.2.5-0.fdr.2.i386.rpm, gdal-devel-1.2.5-0.fdr.2.i386.rpm,
and gdal-debuginfo-1.2.5-0.fdr.2.i386.rpm.  I created a fedora repo
here:

Here's the entry in my yum.conf:

Unfortunately, I can't find sources nor the spec file for building
gdal-python, so I'm stuck.
